Welcome to La Clairière du Verbamont a french campsite in the Vosges, a small friendly campsite in the heart of the Darney forest.
We welcome you to our domaine located in the heart of the Ourche Valley for long or short stays, weekends on vacation or off season.
Enjoy a nature stay in the forest, hiking on site but also around Lake Bouzey, Contrexéville, on the shores of Lake Longemer and Lake Gérardmer or in the mountains in the Vosges mountains.
We offer you glamping accommodation around children's tales we are closed in winter and open from the start of flowering of primroses, from the beginning of March until the end of mushrooms in mid November, this gives you a precise idea!
Also sites to pitch your tent, your caravan, your camper or motorhome are at your disposal.

In Verbamont, we call each other by first name and many shared areas allow everyone if they wish to be able to meet and discuss.

Christophe, your host has created from A to Z this haven of peace from the creation of your cabin to the jams served for breakfast here, almost everything is homemade. It's a lifestyle! Here by Yurt, bubble or pod, the cabins are designated and homemade with our local resources. The cabins of the 3 little pigs or the trailer of Hansel and Gretel, you will relive these famous tales for children.
Why an ecological campsite?
Located in the magnificent forest of Darney known for its high quality oaks, it is in the heart of this 14,000 hectare forest that the small clearing of Verbamont is located.
A truly human-sized campsite where the pitches are distributed on the edge of the forest, leaving space for everyone.
You will find electricity to your pitch, a permaculture garden, a playhouse specially dedicated for parents and children games, several campfire areas , a grain library to exchange your seeds our hybridized, distributed dry toilets on the clearing, a heated toilet block in spring and autumn. A large shaded car park and no car on the clearing, the minimum of light to observe the stars and so much still to discover ...

Is it possible to pitch my tent or come by caravan?
Yes, we have several comfort camping pitches with or without electricity which are spread all around the clearing leaving large open spaces conducive to calm, two caravan / motorhome spaces only with electricity and water connection nearby.
You don't want to burden yourself, take our kitchen pack.
What is the price of a tent pitch for two people?
PACKAGE from € 15 for two persons in tents, € 19 in a caravan,

What to do during my camping holiday?
We won't tell you everything, there is plenty to do with us!
Rest in the vegetable garden cultivated in permaculture which produces the vegetables served at the table d'hôte, a different approach from a restaurant! A good book in a hammock in the shade of the rowing beans.
Vosges campsite without indoor our outdoor swimming pool, we show you more natural bathing places with superb landscapes.
Evening campfire , evening grated potatoes, unlimited pizzas and the famous Cro-Magnon TV! Kids and all the familly will love it !
Hiking in the forest or around lakes, cycling circuit in the heart of the forest or a little further towards Gérardmer or in the Ballon des Vosges Nature Park, nature activity on site, running after rabbits in the wild, watching chickens and chickens peck. ducks, visit the prehistoric park in Darney or the Delisvosges confectionery, from the oldest art glassworks in France to La Rochère, ... Why Glamping is the Perfect Way to Enjoy Your Next Vacation In France With Your Dog
Glamping in our campsites provides you the possibility to come with your dog even in our cabin. There is a small cost of 7 € whatever how long your stay and how many dogs you come with. You can come with a small size, a medium size or a big size dogs with short or long hairs.
The only thing we ask is to keep your dogs in leash and to have a non aggressive animal.

How to Plan A Vacation To France As A Dog Owner!
The idea of going on vacation with a pet is daunting for many. Yet, the pet industry has not been disrupted like the travel industry. This means that most dog owners are still having to find last-minute vacation rentals or pay for expensive hotels where pets are not allowed. You won’t be face to that in our little campsite
The stone rental is a lodge that can accommodate up to 6 people, it is equipped with 4 single bunk beds and a 140 * 190 double bed. The house is divided into 3 areas, the parents area with 1 double bed. 140 * 190 cm, the children's area with 2 bunk beds of 90 * 140 cm, the day area with a table, benches and chairs and a log stove provided of course.
Staying in the stone huts with a burning stove is much safer against the wolf.
Fortunately Christophe your host has planned a labyrinth of smoke pipes in order to be well protected from the wolf!
This accommodation has a private terrace as well as a dry toilet backing onto your accommodation.
